How to get a bird out of your Chimney
I had a bird fly down my Chimney and get trapped. We could hear him flapping around in there since last evening. I tried opening the flue wider in the hope that he would come further down but he wouldn’t have anything to do with that.
We tried every thing we could think of but he just wasn’t coming down. I just needed to know how to get a bird out of a chimney. (more…)
Students Make a CNC Router Table - First Cut
I recently posted about how I helped some students make a CNC Router Table for their Mechanical Engineering Technology course. The Capstone projects assignment was to design and build a CNC Router table for manufacture. The M.E.T. program focuses on Engineering with an eye towards manufacturing. It been a while since I wrote about Minibloq Graphical programming Environment for Arduino but a lot has changed since my last post. Minibloq has been rapidly gaining support from many channels. New hardware and software alliances have cropped up to make the program more robust.
